tgdesigns98 asked: I am going to be installing a concrete driveway. I have tore out the excisting asphalt driveway and formed up for the concrete. How do I install the expansion joints? Do you pour the concrete in one pour and then use a saw and cut the concrete where the joints need to go in? How often do they need to be placed for a 17′ by 78′ driveway?

lem440 asked: I had a new home built and they put a pvc pipe under the concrete driveway for future use. They did not bury the pipe. I dug it up on the side of the driveway and found that the concrete was poured directly on top of the pipe and my concrete cracked straight across,23 feet, directly above the pipe. Should they have buried the pipe deeper and where can I find some kind of regulation about this issue so if I take them to court, I would have some documentation.

Holly asked: The person that had previously lived in my house had put this yellow glue down on patio outside and layed down this green turf. I want to get it off but when I pulled it back, it still left the glue on the concrete patio. is there a solvent or something that can get this off?

Randy B asked: My son’s concrete driveway slopes down a steep hill and at the foot it is about 1 and 1/2 inches higher than the street where they meet. His low profile car sometimes drags and we need to slope the concrete where it meets the street. Should I saw an angle in the existing concrete where there would be more of an angle or pour a thin wedge and smooth off with a trowel? If I pour a thin wedge what type of concrete would pour this thin without breaking up?
